We were woken up by the noise of rain drops drpping on the bus’ roof on that grey cold morning. That probably helped us much to make everything ready to drive away in almost historical time record.
When we’ve driven back to the Linesøya bride, we’ve felt the “real” Norwegian mood. A thing that makes you wanna keep on driving while listening some Coldplay songs the whole day.
Yesterday evening we’ve decide to go to the Beach coffee at Hosen this morning in the hope it won’t rain, when we will arrive there – it didn’t. Ether there has been a strong fresh wind we’ve had the coffee outside. Even more disappointing then the weather was the awful quality of the coffee.
A few Kilometers after passing Åfjord, we’ve droven into some a heavy thunderstorm clouds and it immediately starts to rain cats and dog. I’ve steered the bus into a small place right to a bay and we’ve crawled in the back of the bus to have a nap.
One and a half hour later, we’ve been woken up by some sun rays. Immediately it became quite warm and friendly. We’ve continiued our trip after a cup of coffee and a Wienerbrød by following the 715 to shift later onto the 710 direction Breksadt. As Felix has recommended, we’ve left the 715 at Botngård and followed the 721 to Teksdal, Lysøysund.
It’s a superb nice area with a lot of lovely farmhouses and cultivated land, unfortunately we’ve had big trouble in finding an accurate place to over night – it seamed, that each track goes directly to a farm, a house or a cabin. Our last chance was to consult Google Map in satellite mode – so we’ve found a sea side area which looks suitable to find a lovely corner to park the van for a night.
But even there it was quite tough to find a nice spot. The relaxing thing was that all the houses was tourist houses no farms, so I’am always more brave to occupied a place – what we did after checking out the situation.
Finally it was the spot with the longest time of sun, cause it has brighten up and the sun went down directly into the sea – awesome.
