We’ve get up at ten and after taken a swim, we have hit the road around noon. It was a sunny, bright and very warm sunday.
Our today’s goal was the fiell around Lysebotn, a very empty and rocky piece of land with dozen’s of sheep. To get there we’ve kept on the 355 Krossli, where we’ve turned left onto the 38 direction Dalen to take the 45 to Setesdal, which we left at Nomeland after buying some food and get petrol in Valle.
The Secondary Road over the Fiells to Suleskar was heavy frequented by white camper vans and other cars – quite a pitty for that lovely scenery.
About 2 Kilometers south of Suleskar, we’ve turned right on the Lysebotn Road – one of the best in southern Norway. By taken this road you immediately will enter a lunar landscape – just awesome.
At the half way to Lysebotn, we’ve found a real cool spot with fresh water, snow for the cool box, a couple of sheep and tones of emptiness.
we enjoyed the evening by climbing some rocky hills and doing a Swiss-Norwegian Racellette* – it matches well cause it was very cold and windy.
