When i’ve woken up around 5 a.m. i was forced to close the bus windows by rain – it was really unfriendly outside and it was easy to resleep for an other couple of hours. What a surprise, a bright, sunny and cloudless day welcomed us when when we’ve finally started the day at 8 o’clock.
It was the day of long distance – cause of Julian’s arrival at Gardermoen this night on a quarter to eleven made us to press the throttle down and keep on driving with as less stops as possible. On this day we’ve taken the ferry from Helsingør to Helsingborg and followed the E6 direction Göteborg to Oslo. This road has completely changed since i’ve driven it last time. The whole trip is now on motorway standard – 4 lanes – what has taken completely the charm of that trip.
We’ve decided to check-in at Ekeberg’s camp-site and going to pick-up Julian after a shower at Oslo’s Airport. Ekeberg is one of my absolute favorit city camp-site i know, cause it’s situated just above Islo’s harbor and you have just a top view over the city center, while sitting in front of your camper van.
It has been a little frustrated to realize that it was situated 50 km outside of the City. What meant we’ve had an extra 100 km to go, what gave us a full amount of 749 km on the speedo for today – best, without any technical problems.
Well done! Thats some serious mileage in a day. So jealous! 😉
We do, what we can do! 😃
