The only sad thing about waking up at that awesome spot was the covered sky, we’ve wished so hard to start this day with obviously one of the best sun rise ever – but so we do still have some open points on our trip’s bucket list.
The today’s planed hight light was the visit of Dunnottar Castle, which was build out in the sea on an half island, situated some miles below Aberdeen. That was really worth to see.
After leaving Dunnottar Castle, we’ve headed further north and left the cost – a great side effect was the returning sun – what us allowed to do our daily pick-nick in pure, warm sunshine – I love holidays
Further on i’ve spotted an old lovely stone bridge, what was accessable by a small track. We’ve decided to do some puctures with the van, as there wasn’t any place to turn after the bridge, we kept on following the track – and hoped that it will bring us back to the main road after a few miles. It was big fun to explore that beautiful landscape cruise over that small and winding track – nevertheless fun ends immediately after a dozens of miles at a locked gate – shit. The thought of returning the whole valley on the same track was kind of depressing – lucky wise we’ve found a crossing, that leads us to the next top ten overnight spot – equipped with bath, toilet, laundry and we’ve used everything thankfully.
