Reaching Scotland’s Boarder

We’ve woken up at not the nicest place but by nicest weather condition. A real surprise happened while consuming our good-morning cup of coffee at Costa’s, when suddenly a girl was asking me, if i’m cLaUDe – yeah, i’am! 😃 It was a big surprise, that Kate of “Dubs in Dales” was finding me in a service area near York – especially we’ve had only contact by facebook and eMail – awesome! – cheers to her and her boy friend Kevin – nice to meet you in person!

Betty an I were leaving Wetherby Service area quite late – after getting fuel, Betty was driving most of the distance to Scottish boarder – traffic wasn’t that havey like the day before and we have approach fast to Scottland – unfortunately the weather has changed and there was even light rain, but while crossing the boarder the sun came back – awesome!

We’ve left the A1 for looking for an overnight place. Lucky wise we’ve found one close to a top ten one – for sure best sunset, but strongest wind so far!
