We’ve limped the busses to our final destination with Reckless giving up just as we turned off the Autostrada. The clutch started playing up yesterday and withstood last nights 150km 3 hour night drive so we can’t complain.
Today we plan to arrive at one of Giordano’s family summer house in ossimo. Get washed and cleaned and relax after last nights late night drive.
Hero of the moment, Giordano, has arranged a place we can drop Reckless’s engine so we can determine exactly what is wrong. Fingers crossed its nothing terminal and we can get the parts this afternoon. Giordano has a childhood friend who runs the VW dealership in Ossimo so we are doing the work there and he is confident he’ll find the parts quickly.
